January started off with inclement weather, once again causing delay in progress. But once the humidity dropped, the stucco crew (exterior), drywallers and painters (interior) were able to make great progress.

The interior looks much more like a home! Here are two photos of the Great Room fireplace, about 7 weeks apart Walls now look like walls, and the fireplace is ready for stone!

Our guests' bed will be in the alcove at right; the shower is in the far corner.
