We find it interesting how quickly our local landscape transforms from winter brown to spring green!
The following photos show our view past the cottonwood trees along the banks of the Verde River, over the course of just four weeks....
Bare cottonwood trees in mid-March
Cottonwoods begin to green in late-March
No April Fooling ... the cottonwoods are greening!
Just a couple days later, clearly winter has passed!
April 9th, and it's Spring, for sure!
